BRIEF REMARKS BY HIS EXCELLENCY, PROF. YEMI OSINBAJO, SAN, GCON, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA AT THE COMMISSIONING OF THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED OYO STATE GOVERNOR’S LODGE IN ASOKORO, ABUJA ON THE 24TH OF MAY, 2023

I would like to thank my dear brother, Governor Seyi Makinde for his kind invitation to commission this beautiful new building, the Oyo State Governor’s Lodge.
Mr. Governor, let me commend you for ensuring the completion of this building, but perhaps more importantly, I must take this opportunity to congratulate you for the very significant infrastructural development taking place in Oyo State today.
I was in Ibadan last week and saw the giant leaps that you have made. Well done indeed!
This building joins the legacies of continuous improvement in the lives of the people of Oyo State and of Nigeria and a portent of even greater possibilities for our collective betterment.
Finally, let me congratulate you on the fresh mandate that the people of Oyo have given you. I pray that you will succeed marvellously as Omititun 2.0 begins next Monday in Jesus’ name.
