Happy 80th birthday to a forthright, honest, kind, generous, just and fair minded monarch, the Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, CFR.

 

 

Through almost three decades, I have learnt several unforgettable lessons from you, perhaps the most profound is your incredible ability to stay in touch with everyone high and low, and devote quality time to all their concerns.

 

 

On your 80th birthday, I wish you God’s richest blessings of good health and peace. May your later years on the throne be much better than the past years.
