In Yola, Adamawa State, I launched the North-East Humanitarian Innovation Hub. The idea is to provoke tech-based innovative ideas to tackle the challenges of IDPs in the states affected by the insurgency.

As I toured the hub, I visited the Virtual Reality room and watched a documentary on some of the challenges faced with a VR headset.

I also visited the 3D Printing Lab, where I met a team that printed a prosthetic 3D limb for Mohammed, a young boy from Maiduguri who lost his limb in the fight against insurgency.

To bring innovation and cultivate creativity, the Federal Government has been deliberate about establishing/supporting private-sector-led hubs across the 6 geopolitical zones. Each hub will focus on a specific regional issue.
