VP Osinbajo Attends The 4th Presidential Quarterly Business Forum On 11/07/2017

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, attended the 4th Presidential Quarterly Business Forum, in the State House Banquet Hall. The focus of the forum is to improve where necessary, collaborative efforts focused on two key areas of the economy, including briefings on tax policies; as regards the Voluntary Asset and Income Declaration scheme, whilst the second segment covered an overview of the Power Sector, including the Power Sector Recovery Plan, and gas to power as it stands.

The presentations was followed by an interactive session with the Acting President. The Acting President said, “our desire is to ensure that we work together, that is to say the public sector and the private sector. Indeed it is the private sector that must lead because the private sector obviously is the main investor in this economy no matter how we look at it”

Present at the Forum were key government players including the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde R. Fashola, SAN, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu and Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun.
